Ulúa-Yojoa vessels were usually tall cylindrical vessels, varying bowls and jars. The surface is usually slipped, orange or cream color, and polished. However there are non-slipped sherds indicating a defective slip adhesion had occurred. Red and black polychrome was used for the decorations.
