Zico Utilitarian
The Zico Utilitarian Tradition had a few examples appearing in the late Acbi phase, but it was primarily found during the Coner phase, It consisted of three groups, Mapache, Raul, and Zico. The main forms were necked vessels with handles, such as jars and ollas (a cooking pot form), open bowls, and tecomates. Red-slipping, striating, and incising were common exterior treatments. The interior of the vessel necks had different formation treatments, causing a different composition in each. Yellow to brown colored pastes were used.
