Type: Copador Polychrome
Phase: Started Late Acbi, predominate in Early Coner and reached to Late Coner
Hemispherical and subhemispherical bowls are the main form of this ceramic, but there are also bowls with out-curving walls, silhouette bowls, silhouette jars and cylindrical jars. The ceramic is thin, well-polished, and smoothed. Hematite red, black and orange paints are used on top of a cream to brown slip base. CV1 is different from other Copador Polychrome varieties in regards to a band of Longyear’s Glyph Motif A/B outlined by a single, think red line or double (one thick one thin) red lines.
